Join your western tour leader and fellow travellers for an evening meal or sunset drink, or strike out on your own. The choice is always yours. This tour generally attracts a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers. The group never exceeds 16 passengers, which means you will always have the chance to get to know your fellow travellers.
If you don't want to pay a single supplement you can choose to share and pay the twin-share price. If there isn't one other person of the same sex willing to share on your departure, you will stay in a single room at no extra cost. Your Journey starts Delhi, ends Udaipur
Days 1-2 ~ Delhi

Hotel: Maidens
Days 3-5 ~ Agra & Ranthambore National Park
We drive to Agra, home to the Taj Mahal. Explore the Red Fort and enjoy a sunset riverside walk with Taj views, then a memorable sunrise Taj Mahal visit. Enroute to Ranthambore National Park we explore the ruined city of Fatehpur Sikri and experience the world's greatest train network. Amid the rugged beauty of Ranthambore, embark on game drives in the early morning and late afternoon, the best times to spot wildlife such as sambar, wild boar and, with luck, the Bengal Tiger.
Hotels: Mansingh Palace, Fort Nahargarh
Days 6-7 ~ Jaipur
We get to know the ‘Pink City', discovering the City Palace and the stunning facade of the Hawa Mahal or ‘Palace of Winds'. We also venture out to the nearby Amber Fort, situated atop a mountain in the midst of a stark arid landscape. There is free time to explore the local markets, full of carpets, prints and jewellery. Don't forget to bargain!
Hotel: Shahpura House
Days 8-9 ~ Nimaj & Osian
Descendants of the local Thakur rulers are our hosts for the night at the Nimaj Palace, in a traditional Rajasthani country town. Take in rooftop views from the palace terraces, tea in the courtyard, or wander the town. This evening you will enjoy a cooking demonstration by the palace cooks. From here venture into the Thar Desert, to stay in a stunning tented camp atop a sand dune. Absorb the peaceful desert ambience on a sunset camel ride.
Hotels: Nimaj Palace, Osian Camel Camp
Days 10-11 ~ Jodhpur
From our desert camp, we take a jeep safari to traditional Bishnoi villages, alive with colour and activities like blacksmithing, pot-making, weaving and farming. In the blue city of Jodhpur, colourful markets full of spices and fabrics and the impressive Meherangarh Fort await.
Hotel: Park Plaza
Days 12-14 ~ Udaipur
Visit the ornate Ranakpur Jain temples enroute to Udaipur, one of the world's most romantic cities. In Udaipur, take a heritage walk among the ornate cupolas and balconies of the City Palace and the bustling bazaars, and absorb the magical scenery with a boat ride on Lake Pichola. There is free time to shop for one of the city's famed artworks, and wander the narrow lanes or lake shore. Your journey ends with a transfer on day 14.
