This small group journey is the perfect way for solo travellers to experience Asia. The style of travel means that you will experience Asia as a group of friends, not as part of an anonymous coach-load. Join your western tour leader and fellow travellers for an evening meal or sunset drink, or strike out on your own. The choice is always yours. This tour generally attracts a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers. The group never exceeds 16 passengers, which means you will always have the chance to get to know your fellow travellers.
If you don't want to pay a single supplement you can choose to share and pay the twin-share price. If there isn't one other person of the same sex willing to share on your departure, you will stay in a single room at no extra cost. Days 1-2 - Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh and explore the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and learn about the Khmer Rouge at Tuol Sleng Museum. You will have some free time to indulge in the vibrant riverside café and restaurant scene, or perhaps wander the Central Market and Russian Market in pursuits of a bargain.

Days 3-4 - Siem Reap
Fly to Siem Reap, gateway to Angkor. Here you will discover Tonle Sap Lake on a sunset cruise before taking to the temples. From awesome Angkor Wat to the Bayon, Angkor Thom, Banteay Srei and beyond. Much of your temple touring will take place on an exciting tuk-tuk ride.

Days 5-7 - Saigon & Mekong Delta
In Saigon get to know the sites and sounds of Vietnam's most exciting city. A walking tour past some of the iconic sites in District One, such as the Opera House and Hotel de Ville, will help you get acquainted with Ho Chi Minh City. Take a day-trip out to the lush waterways of the Mekong Delta, where you will experience the ‘rice basket' of this fertile region, and travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the tenacity and resilience of the Vietnamese.

Days 8-9 - Hoi An
Enjoy the architecture, local delicacies and friendly locals that make Hoi An a true Vietnam highlight. Visit her tailors and galleries, relax at the beach or take part in a cooking demonstration. An atmospheric boat trip down the Thu Bon River will bring you to the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ancient Town. Early risers should pack plenty of film; you will be mesmerised by the sights and sounds of this fishing town's early morning market as boats arrive from the sea.

Days 10-11 - Hue
Drive north to Vietnam's former imperial capital and wander the last empire's Forbidden City, the Citadel, as well as tombs of the Nguyen Emperors and the banks of the Perfume River. The journey itself is part of the appeal; travel over Hai Van Pass for spectacular views of the mountains, the sea and lush rice paddies.

Days 12-14 - Hanoi & Halong Bay
Fly to Hanoi and take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, the best way to get to know the ancient laneways and local people. Discover historic Ba Dinh Square and take time at Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Museum, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Spend a magical afternoon cruising Halong Bay, where you will enjoy a seafood lunch and a swim (weather permitting). Depart on day 14.
