Day 1 Reykjavik

Tour commences with individual check-in at accommodation. Remainder of day is at leisure. 

Day 2 Gullfoss-Geysir-vik

Visit Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, Geysir and Strokkur hot springs and boiling mud pools, Dyrhólaey nature reserve.**(BD)
** Dyrholaey is closed during nesting season middle May-June 23rd. 
 
Day 3 Skaftafell-Jökulsárlón-Höfn

Cross Eldhraun, the world's largest lava mass, to Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Over Skeiðarársandur sands to Skaftafell National Park and Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon the birthplace of icebergs.(BD)

Day 4 East Fjords-Egilsstadir

Travel majestic Almannaskarð coastal pass, see towering mountains plunging vertically into the sea forming the magnificent East Fjords and Petra's stone collection.(BD) 

Day 5 Dettifoss-Lake Myvatn

Explore the vast desert plateau Möðrudalsöræfi, Europe's most powerful waterfall Dettifoss and boiling mud pools and vibrant colours of Námaskarð pass. Discover lava formations at Dimmuborgir, the pseudocraters at Skútustaðir and Laxá salmon river near Lake Myvatn.(BD)

Day 6 Myvatn-Akureyri

Stop at Goðafoss waterfall, the turf farm Laufás and the port of Akureyri.(B)

Day 7  Skagafjörðurorgarnes

Majestic mountains and narrow passes lead to Skagafjörður home of the unique Icelandic horse. Cross the Holtavörðuheiði plateau to Borgarfjörður.(BD)

Day 8 Þingvellir-Reykjavik

Stop at Deildartunguhver, the world's most powerful hot spring and Hraunfossar waterfall. Over the breathtaking Kaldidalur mountain pass to Lake Þingvallavatn, Visit Þingvellir National Park, the ancient Parliament site.(B) 

Day 9 Reykjavik

Tour concludes after breakfast (B)
