This tour is a perfect way for solo travellers to experience India. The style of travel means that you will experience India as a group of friends, not as part of an anonymous coach-load. Join your western tour leader and fellow travellers for an evening meal or sunset drink, or strike out on your own. The choice is always yours. This tour attracts a great mix of couples, friends and solo travellers. The group never exceeds 16 passengers, which means you will always have the chance to get to know your fellow travellers.
Solo travellers do not have to pay a single supplement. You can choose to share and pay the twin-share price. If there isn't one other person of the same sex willing to share on your departure, you will stay in a single room at no extra cost. Alternatively, you can ensure a room to yourself by paying a single supplement.

DAYS 1-2 - DELHI
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. The next day, set off to see some of Delhi's most famous sites and historical monuments. Visit Humayun's Tomb, the Jama Masjid and a colourful Sikh temple. DAY 3 - AGRA & TAJ MAHAL
Drive to Agra, home to the stunning architectural masterpiece and ode to love, the Taj Mahal. Visit Agra's great Moghul fort, then enjoy a sunset riverside walk offering stunning views of the Taj. Hotel: Mansingh Palace
DAYS 4-5 - JAIPUR
Today we drive to Jaipur, after a dawn visit to the magical Taj Mahal. Enjoy the Rajasthani capital of Jaipur's most famous sites, including the City Palace and its interesting observatory. Take a walk through the vibrant bazaar and witness carpet weaving in action, before exploring the fascinating Amber Fort. Hotel: Mansingh Jaipur
DAY 6 - SAMODE
We travel on to little visited Samode, a Rajasthani outpost where you can glimpse traditional life up close. Enjoy a jeep safari through the small farms and villages, and wander its enchanting palace. Hotel: Samode Bagh
DAYS 7-9 - RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL PARK
After lunch you will depart by road for Sawaii Madhopur and your accommodation on the borders of Ranthambore National Park. The next morning enter the park for the first of your two safaris in this spectacular park. Ranthambore is a rugged world of arid hills, ancient fortifications, and valley lakes where wildlife seek refuge and can be seen in impressive numbers and variety.
While the much sought-after prize of any trip here is the Royal Bengal Tiger, there is so much more on offer - herds of sambar and chital deer, huge crocodiles, jackal and hyena, Sloth Bear, leopard, monkeys and a fantastic diversity of colourful birdlife.
